Eventually the idea came to put Eggbert's cartoons with all his wit and wisdom into a journal of some sort, in addition to the t-shirts, mugs and other goodies. This would give the Mom-to-be a place to write anything and everything about her pregnancy and how she feels about the whole thing ... the funny moments, the scary moments and those oh so special moments that she experiences.
And so, the new Eggbert diaries came to be. If you find them on Amazon, look for the ones with borders on the covers ... the others are the old, original Eggbert books and could be a bit pricey.
SO . . . About the new Eggbert Diaries . . .
These diaries will take the expectant Mom from the very beginning of her pregnancy to the big day when her little one enters the world. This is her own very personal record of all the special moments from the day she found she was pregnant, to that first feeling of life inside her, visits to the doctor, through sonograms and morning sickness, baby showers and so much more. Years from now Mom will have this diary to look back on – hopefully with fond memories. Laughing with Eggbert will bring back all those wondrous moments. We wish all Moms love, joy, fulfillment, and we provide these diaries as forever proof that humor is the best medicine in the world.

EDIT: (Aug 6) Looks like "tomorrow" hasn't come yet! Anyway, I have been trying for the past 5 days to add one of the Eggbert cartoons to this post with no success so far. My idea was to add a cartoon every day ... it should take about 2 years to post them all but, at this rate, it will take a whole lot longer!
